Items you`ll need:
- Plastic Bags
- Scissors
- A Straw
- Paper Twist or Wire
Steps:
- Cut 2 stripes from the plastic bag. width = 4 inches each
- Cut both sides of each stripe
- Cut your straw to 4 inches
- Fold the straw down the middle
- Cut both ends of the straw into thin strips leaving about 1/3 inch in the middle & burn the tip of each straw end
- Line up the edges of all four sheets and lay them flat on the a surface, then fold it about 3/4inch and keep folding back and forth in accordion style. Continue until the entire sheet is folded.
- Keep the straw stamen on the top of foldings and tie it with a tag around the middle. (Make sure that the tag and stamen are in the center)
- Open the foldings to form a circle, then gently pull the top layer in an upward motion. This will begin to take the form of a flower. Repeat this step for all layers.
- Trim as you like.
- Voila!
